The International School of Developmental Baby Massage and Movement was founded by Peter Walker, who teaches postnatal yoga, Baby Massage and Soft Gymnastics.
A physical therapist and yoga teacher since the 1970s, Peter has specialized for the past 25 years working with mothers and babies, and has developed unique techniques of Developmental Baby Massage and Soft Gymnastics for babies and toddlers.
Through the international school, Peter offers Teachers Training Courses in Developmental Baby Massage and Toddler Gym to health visitors, midwives and other interested health care professionals throughout the United Kingdom (UK), Japan and Australia.
His “Developmental Baby Massage” teacher training course focuses on massage and movement from birth to walking and also addresses some of the challenges and concerns of new parents. It also provides a means for parents to assess and assist their baby's development. To relieve birth trauma, fractiousness and anxiety, and assist in overcoming some areas of developmental delay
