Who are you? I am a pediatrician in private practice in San Francisco. Our innovative, house call practice integrates alternative and traditional medical practices to meet the health care needs of our patients.
“I am very impressed by Tina. She is one of the most sincere, caring and patient individuals from whom I have had the opportunity to work and learn.”
Share a memorable moment from an infant massage class: When teaching my first class, I saw the delight of the babies and parents to this wonderful experience.
What have you learned from a family (or baby) in your classes? ? I have learned that infant massage is a wonderful way for parents to form a nurturing bond with their children.
What makes you happy? The sound of the ocean crashing against the California Coast, hiking in the Marin Headlands and the gratitude expressed by the many wonderful families with whom our practice works to enhance their children’s health care experience.
What makes you sad? lack of universal healthcare for all- especially children.
What’s your favorite color? Definitely green!
What’s your favorite food? As a native Mainer, I must say lobster!
What’s your favorite motto? “To dream anything that you want to dream. That's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.” Bernard Edmonds
How do you incorporate infant massage into your work? Infant massage has been a wonderful way for me to offer families another way to positively interact with their babies. The parents love to see the joy that their babies experience during these special and nurturing moments.

Finally, an infant massage certification program for professionals, caregivers and those wanting to begin a new career in the wonderful world of infant massage. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of infant massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to become a professional infant massage teacher.
Any experienced infant massage teacher will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a baby from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a families needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided infant massage education throughout the world.
As a CIMT, you have the special opportunity to impact an infant and their family for a lifetime.
